How long does it take to turn around a site build?

Once we have access to your photos and copy, we can get a preview of your site to you within 7 business days. Once you’ve approved the site preview, we need to connect the site to your domain name (see below regarding domain names). This can take up to 24 to 48 hours depending on a number of factors outside of both our and your control (known as domain propagation). It is our desire to get your website up and running as soon as possible.

Can I use my own colours?

If you already have your own mood board / colour scheme, then yes – you’re welcome to provide us with the HEX/HTML codes to use in the site. You are allowed to change the colour scheme once. Additional colour scheme updates will be charged at an hourly rate.

How many photos of me do you need?

Up to a maximum of three (3) are used in the template.

What type of photos of me do you need?

We need landscape size photos (minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels), with you positioned on the centre or the right hand side of the photo. Ideally there needs to be negative space on the left hand side of the photo where the copy is positioned.

I don’t have any photos of myself … what next?

We can use other dōTERRA product shots instead. However, we strongly recommend making your site personal and getting some professional photos taken. It makes all the difference in the world!

Do I need my own domain name?

Yes. You are responsible for purchasing and supplying your own domain name. We recommend you purchase a domain name through Google Domains (https://domains.google.com/registrar/search/). We can guide you through this process, as we want you to have 100% ownership of your domain. Once you have your domain name, we will provide you with information to point to our servers. Again, we’ll walk you through how to do this.

Do I need my own email address that matches the domain name?

This isn’t required for us to launch your website, but when you purchase a domain name you will be given an opportunity to set up your own email address that matches your domain (for example, email@yourdomain.com). We think it’s good marketing practice to have a professional email for your business. Click here to find out more about Google Workspace.

Does the hosting include an SSL certificate?

Yes. Visitors to your site will see the SSL padlock that verifies that your website is secure. You don’t need to purchase your own SSL certificate, although if you have already done this, we can still use it.

Can I download the content and host the website myself?

No. Just like other web services in the market place, our intellectual property (the template and content) stays within the hosting platform.

Do I have to take the SEO upgrade package?

No. However, the point of having a website is to be found online by those already searching for what you sell. The SEO package helps your website stand out online. We strongly recommend you take the upgrade package.

Can I upgrade to the SEO package at another time?

Yes. Get in contact with us and we’ll arrange for this to happen.

Can I downgrade from the SEO package after I’ve upgraded?

Yes. There will be a once off $30 fee charged to cover the administrative work required to remove the package.

When will I be invoiced for the set up and monthly billing?

You will be invoiced for the set up and monthly hosting in advance once you subscribe for our service. Our billing cycle starts when you subscribe, and the anniversary date will be the same date each month. If you subscribed on a date that sometimes doesn’t have a 29th, 30th or 31st, the invoice will be charged on the last day of the calendar month. We run on Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) during the summer months, and Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) during the winter months, which is 11 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

What currency will I be invoiced in?

You will be invoiced using Australian Dollars.

What countries do you support?

We have product imagery for Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.

Do you have other dōTERRA themes?

We will be adding additional themes over the course of 2021.

Can I have my own individual website designed and hosted through findability?

Yes – we are happy to discuss your requirements and provide a quote for your consideration. Please contact us and let us know what you’d like.
