Micro speed; macro patience.

We live in a world where convenience is key – we no longer have to wait for the majority of things. You want to know the answer to something? Just google it. Boom – there’s the result.

It’s easy to think that everything else should be like that. But deep down, we know it’s not. Good things take time to build. It’s also easy to forget that most overnight success stories take at least 10 years.

So I love this bit from Gary V that helps to keep the daily grind happening, and not get upset when it feels like things aren’t moving as quickly as I want them to – micro speed, macro patience. Bust your arse every day (hustle), but always keep the big vision in mind, and work towards / keep reinvesting in that.

I expect that it’s going to take time to build my reputation, my personal brand, etc., by putting out good work and being humble about it. I know that the results will speak for themselves – but first, I have to produce the results!

Which, again, takes time.

In summary, a great quote from Bill Gates – “Most people overestimate what they can do in 1 year, and underestimate what they can do in 10 years.”

Thanks for your attention.

Much love.
